MUL - State of Black America MKE
Greetings! Join Milwaukee Urban League President and CEO Dr. Eve M. Hall for the 2021 State of Black America Milwaukee summer virtual town hall featuring a panel of corporate, entrepreneurial, and nonprofit leaders to see how we can all be a part of solutions that make Milwaukee a first-class city for everyone.

Part one of this series will take place Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 12 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.

The panel, “Intersecting Employment and Entrepreneurship: Creating an Inclusive and Equitable Pipeline,” will explore the cross-sections of employment and entrepreneurship and the impact on jobs and economic growth. The pandemic has resulted in job losses but also job creation in the entrepreneurship sphere. It is forcing corporations to think differently about the recruitment and retention of employees. How can employment and entrepreneurship work together to drive the economy post-COVID? How do we diversify the pipeline in a meaningful way? Please join corporate, nonprofit, and entrepreneurial leaders to discuss and problem-solve these important topics and more!
